Kim Cospey

Kim Cospey

Foam Rolling Pilates Instructor

In 2005, a Pilates Instructor moved to my small town from California and opened a studio. She was my first and best so far instructor. She taught me the meaning and purpose of perfect form and breath. It was intense and what my young body needed. I lost about 40 pounds, lean, strong, and healthy.

And 20 years later, it’s even more valued to me. Hence, I’m a big fan of form and breath.

While living in Germany, I learned of foam rolling at a local gym. After a year of learning the form in a foreign language, I passed the instructor certification. Upon my return to the USA, I began to teach in Shreveport LA.

Pilates Foam Rolling release fascia, increase balance, build the core power house, and increases strength while getting a self massage.

My hobbies include outdoor activities and dog walking.

Line Dance Instructor

I was born and raised in Leesburg, TX. My love of dance began in my teenage years as my family would all go dancing on weekends to hear my brother’s band in my high school and college years. I was also a cheerleader which integrated a lot dance moves.

Later in life my husband and his parents moved here during our 35 years of marriage. With my husband’s passing I took up Clogging & Line Dancing. He gained his heavenly wings before both his elder parents. I would go and visit his parents at the Assisted Living. While visiting a group of Cloggers from Holly Lake Ranch came to perform for the residents. I loved the performance so I asked, “Can I take your classes?” and they said, “Yes!” I have been dancing ever since!

We perform at the local festivals and nursing homes to entertain the community and celebrate dance. Later I expanded my joy for dance after enjoying line dancing at a local tavern. Now I teach at our local Fire Department and taverns in Northeast Texas. I teach all ages but most students are senior ladies. Line Dancing is a fun exercise that works the brain and body while enJoying social activity. Join us as I share my JOY for dance at LightWorker Ranch once a month on Fridays at 2PM.
